Alternative
approaches and equipment
Several sensor activities make use of datalogging
equipment. Each datalogging package is different
and the decision was made to provide detailed
instructions based on ‘PicoScope with
DrDAQ’, as it enables students to obtain
output readings in the correct units for the
sensor, rather than as a voltage reading.
However, other datalogging equipment could
be used in many cases, and the Word versions
of the student activities could be edited
accordingly. |
